We are looking for new people to join our team at Opening Doors.
We are a user led charity run by and for adults with learning disabilities.
Our staff work alongside people with learning disabilities and help keep Opening Doors running.
This is an exciting time to join us as we plan for the future.
Current jobs
Office Coordinator
Help keep Opening Doors organised and running smoothly.
You will provide practical admin support across the charity. You will also spend 3 hours each week working alongside and supporting a colleague with a learning disability.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £25,878 – £27,000 (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent

Advocacy Adviser
Support people with learning disabilities to speak up, solve problems and live safe, confident lives.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £26,936 – £29,591 (pro rata)
Contract: 2 years (with possible extension)

Become a Member
Do you have a learning disability and live in Norfolk?
If you are 18 or over, you can become a member of Opening Doors. As a member, you can:
- Help lead our charity by joining the management committee
- Have your say at our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
To become a member download the form here and send or give it to us.
You do not need to be a member of Opening Doors to have 1:1 advocacy support or go to advocacy groups.
Volunteer with us
We always welcome passionate volunteers who want to support adults with learning disabilities.
Volunteering with us means you can:
- Make meaningful connections and build friendships
- Learn new skills and get training
- Grow personally – and have fun too!
