We are looking for new Advisers to join our team at Opening Doors.
Our staff support self advocates to speak up, run groups and make change happen.
This is an exciting time to join us as we plan for the future.
Current jobs
Advocacy and Training Adviser
Support people with learning disabilities to plan and deliver training, events and projects.
Hours: 25 hours per week
Salary: £26,936 – £29,591 (pro rata)
Contract: Fixed term to March 2028

Advocacy Adviser
Support people with learning disabilities to speak up, solve problems and live safe, confident lives.
Hours: 22.5 to 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,936 – £29,591 (pro rata)
Contract: 1 year (with possible extension)

Become a Member
Do you have a learning disability and live in Norfolk?
If you are 18 or over, you can become a member of Opening Doors. As a member, you can:
- Help lead our charity by joining the management committee
- Have your say at our Annual General Meeting (AGM)

You do not need to be a member of Opening Doors to have 1:1 advocacy support or go to advocacy groups.
Volunteer with us
We always welcome passionate volunteers who want to support adults with learning disabilities.
Volunteering with us means you can:
- Make meaningful connections and build friendships
- Learn new skills and get training
- Grow personally – and have fun too!
